|Background Information||The Anglers' Conservation Association (ACA) fights water pollution and other damage to the aquatic environment. It does this by using common law to take polluters to court, with the resulting settlements being used to rectify the damage caused. Supported by anglers and angling clubs, the ACA was founded by John Eastwood. The ACA is affiliated to FACT, the Fisheries and Angling Conservation Trust. The current name was adopted in 1994.
