Description

''The papers of the pressure group, together with the papers of the Channel Tunnel Company, were deposited at Churchill College, Cambridge in 1980 [and subsequently transferred to Brunel University Library, part of the Channel Tunnel Library / Transport History Collection]. A list is available (NRA 25829). The majority of the collection is composed of Company papers which, because they relate to the 1930 tunnel scheme, are pre-war in date with the exception of material emanating from the Parliamentary Channel Study Group, 1947-60. The Channel Tunnel Association was formed in 1962; its papers form section 6 of the deposit and consist of correspondence, 1962-80, and copies of its publications 1969-74. The last part of the collection is composed of the Association's library of relevant books, press articles and government publications.'' (source: C.
