This AHRC-funded project provides information on the availability of records relating to non-governmental organisations and pressure groups active in the UK since 1945. The main project ran until October 2007, and is being continued by the new Leverhulme-funded project NGOs in Britain. The database will continue to expand until 2011.

The project is administered by the Birmingham Centre for Contemporary History at the University of Birmingham.
